The Apollonia is a resounding concert grand pedal harp with a similar innovative body and soundboard design as the Apollo. It is distinguished by its majestic appearance beginning with a warm sparkling pommele veneer handpainted with a high gloss finish. The artistry of the 23+ karat gold leaf is quite dramatic from the heart-shaped molding adorning the top of the column to the elegant design that seems to flow and teardrop down the bottom of the column and scalloped base. Lyon & Healy

Created by Lyon & Healy in 1895, this intricate harp is symbolic of the Victorian era during which it was made. The Style 23 has become the most recognized harp in the world and showcases the woodworking artistry of the Lyon & Healy craftsmen. The highly-embellished floral carving at the crown, top of the column, base and feet is coupled with a fleur de lis pattern at the bottom of the column - both were notable features of the time. A complimentary sweeping floral decoration accents the extended soundboard which also features a double walnut inlay along the edges.
